Description
This is a French reproduction of a small 19th century two-flap basket enabling to tuck away your pins on one side and your needles on the other. Two small pieces of blue colored ribbon allow you to easily lift each of the two flaps.
The basket is 4-3/4”long, 2-1/2” wide and 2-1/4” high, including the small handle. The handle is marked Sajou on each side in black. The left flap is marked “Aiguilles” (needles) in black and the right flap, also in black, is marked “Epingles” (pins).
This basket is made from solid alder wood and stained with a lovely cherry finish and presented in a lovely floral box.
